Discipleship and Giving
Most Christians are familiar with the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. But in churches today there is also the “Great Omission.” Even though there are 2,350 Scripture verses relating to finances, generosity and material possessions, most churches seldom teach on this vital subject.

Pastors, church staff, treasurers, finance committee members and other church leaders are invited to attend Cultivating Generous Churches at Severns Valley Baptist Church on Oct. 29. Topics will include:
  • Financial trends impacting church giving
  • Biblical insights to ignite more generous giving
  • Advancing Biblical teaching related to finances
  • Estate stewardship and financial planning
  • Leading others in personal financial stewardship
  • and more!
