The goal of this one-day conference is to encourage and equip believers to renew a personal passion to pray and to assist leaders in developing creative and evangelistic prayer strategies to touch the world. It is jointly sponsored by the Kentucky Baptist Convention and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.


Featured Speakers
T.W. Hunt - known around the world as a teacher, a writer, and a man of prayer. He has given his life to teaching others the ways of God. T.W. has circled the world countless times teaching missions leaders, missionaries, and national church leaders. He conducts seminars for denominational leaders, pastors, other church leaders, and laypersons in churches and assemblies throughout the United States. He is author of “Disciple’s Prayer Life”, “In God’s Presence”, “The Mind of Christ”, “From Heaven’s View”, “The Life Changing Power of Prayer”, and many other books.

Frank Page - is pastor of the First Baptist Church, Taylors, SC and president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has spoken widely in revivals, Bible and prayer conferences, college lecture series, seminary chapels, and evangelism training conferences across the nation and overseas. In January of 2007, Dr. Page was named as one of the Fifty Most Influential Christians in America by the Church Report. He is author of “The New American Commentary on Jonah”, “Commentary on Mark”, “The Witnessing and Giving Life” and “Trouble with the Tulip”.


Don Whitney – is Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He is the founder and president of The Center for Biblical Spirituality. Prior to his ministry as a seminary professor, Dr. Whitney served churches in pastoral ministry for twenty-four years. He is author of “Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life”, “How Can I Be Sure I’m a Christian”, Spiritual Disciplines Within the Church”, “Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health”, “Simplify Your Spiritual Life, and others.
