Contact the Revolutionary!

Thursday 23rd March, 2006
Thanks for your interest in joining the revolution! I will post entries and read comments almost every other day. I look forward to reading about your revolutionary efforts and to learning from your experiences. The more I write, the more questions I have. But together, I believe we can make the needed changes to Sunday School and small group Bible studies--sometimes overnight and sometimes over long periods of time. Let's be revolutionaries!

My name is Darryl Wilson. I began at the Kentucky Baptist Convention as Director of the Sunday School Department on September 1997, providing training and consultations for the 2,400+ churches and 70+ associations.  My work is with pastors, church staff, Sunday School directors, teachers, and small group leaders.

Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee, I received the Bachelor of Arts degree from Belmont University in Nashville in 1982.  Then I graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville in 1985 with the Master of Divinity in Christian Education degree and in 2003 with the Doctor of Education degree.

I served four churches in Kentucky and one in South Carolina as Minister of Education.  I was also active in associational and state Sunday School work. I have been active in the Kentucky Baptist Religious Education Association, Baptist Association of Christian Educators, and the State Sunday School Directors Association (Southern Baptist), an association of my peers across the country.
