Kentucky Restorative Ministry
Holistic approach to reaching and helping the incarcerated and their families.

The R/6 Mentoring Program's goal is to help ex-offenders become self-suffiecient upon release from prison. Through personal relationships and church support, R/6 seeks to guide former offenders in discipline, discipleship and devotion. Mentors from support churches help accomplish this by providing prayer, counsel and accountability for these individuals.

Operation Noah Rebuild
The Kentucky Baptist Convention has joined Operation Noah Rebuild, a partnership between the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and other faith-based organizations focused coordinating volunteers and materials to help rehabilitate homes and churches damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.

Kentucky Baptists interested in volunteering should call the Operation Noah Rebuild office in New Orleans at (504) 362-4604 or toll free at (877) 934-0808 at least six weeks before their proposed arrival date. Volunteers should identify themselves as Kentucky Baptists, and request assignments in Area 4.
