The Church Development and Evangelism Growth Team exists to network, resource, and encourage Kentucky Baptist Churches in church development and evangelism. We want to help your church/ministry to share the Gospel in understandable ways with every person in your community and give them an opportunity to respond in faith, as well as assist your church/ministry in developing strategies and ministries that help believers become fully devoted followers of Christ.
In the spirit of the Great Commandment, we join God in pursuit of the Great Commission by strengthening churches and small groups as they reach, connect, disciple, and mobilize people into ministry. Our focus is upon general and adult leaders in Sunday School and Discipleship ministries. We believe that an intentional, systematic approach results in maturing believers, developing leaders, and multiplying ministries.
Discipleship/Assimilation Department
The Discipleship and Assimilation Department exists to help church leaders develop and implement effective strategies for assimilation, discipleship, deacon ministries, and bivocational ministries.
Throughout the year the Preschool/Children's Ministry and Sunday School Group offers a wide variety of great training resources for all those who are called to love and lead children: Sunday School teachers and directors, associational leaders, pastors, weekday educators and more!
The mission of Youth Ministry and Sunday School Group is to equip youth ministries to strategically reach and mentor teens for Christ. The outcome of growing deep in our faith in Christ is to be a constant witness of His love. The mission field is as close as your neighborhood school. In order to reach this mission field, we've got to equip and empower the best missionaries for the job -- students!
