Debbie provides administrative and secretarial support to the executive associate and executive director. She also works with the Mission Board and various committees, including the Committee on Credentials, Committee on Nominations, Committee on Committees, Committee on Constitutions and Bylaws, and the Agencies and Institutions Committee. She maintains lists of all convention boards and committees, keeping track of vacancies and rotation balances. Debbie has served the KBC since 1983.

Pat assists Executive Director Dr. Bill Mackey with phone calls, correspondence and scheduling appointments. Pat also assists with the Administrative Committee and the KBC Mission Board. Pat particularly enjoys the opportunity to assist Kentucky Baptist ministers and lay persons.

| Billy Compton

Billy Compton has pastored churches in Kentucky since 1966, and currently serves as the KBC's executive associate for Cooperative Program and resources. He is a graduate of Campbellsville University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Fuller Theological Seminary. He has previously pastored at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow, Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green, and First Baptist Church in Mt. Washington.

| Wanda Karolyi

After retiring as executive assistant to the president of a large healthcare organization in Louisville with some 4300 employees, Wanda came to KBC. She brings a broad background to provide office assistance in the preparation of materials and logistical support to the annual convention, mission board sessions and committees, convention committees, association annual meetings and other assigned services related to the Kentucky Baptist Convention constituents.

| Bill Mackey

Dr. Mackey's many years of experience as a pastor and in state convention leadership enable him to give effective general leadership as Executive Director-Treasurer to the work of the Mission Board of the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He provides visionary leadership for the KBC staff, and promotes and elicits support for ministries and missions in Kentucky and around the world through the Cooperative Program and special missions gifts.

| Steve Thompson

Steve joined the Convention as Assistant Executive Director in 1999 after serving for more than 28 years as a pastor and director of missions. Steve serves as the Executive Office Team Leader, supervising and guiding the Executive Office Team. Other areas of responsibility include Cooperative Program development, annual meeting and Mission Board meeting planning, the KBC calendar, and providing support for KBC committees. His aim is to see that Kentucky Baptists have the resources they need to carry out their God-given mission.
