The Partnerships Missions Department helps churches and individuals to participate in hands-on missions endeavors in Kentucky, in other regions of the United States and other parts of the world. We have more than 20 years experience in international travel -- we can help plan all aspects of your mission trip, even if your church is new to active missions service! Here's how:
- Developing mission team leaders at our Team Leader Training
- Helping each member of your team prepare prior to departure (training includes cultural awareness, religious differences, evangelistic methods and dealing with travel-related issues.)
- We can help your church and/or association forge partnerships in other areas -- domestic and international.
- We keep you connected to missions though prayer, with projects such as Operation Bended Knee and by organizing prayer walking events.
- Scholarships may be available.
Kentucky Baptists partner with other Baptist organizations in the U.S. and around the world for the purpose of spreading the Gospel. Through short-term mission projects Kentucky Baptists work alongside their Baptist brothers and sisters on the mission field, partnering with indigenous groups as they build educational centers, evangelize and meet basic human needs. Kentucky currently has partnerships with Brazil and New England an Maryland/Delaware.
