Administrative Services Department

"Serving those who serve Kentucky Baptists" is a fitting motto for the Administrative Services Department. This department provides quality and competent human resources, insurance and other administrative and operational assistance to both the Mission Board staff and Missionary Assistance Personnel.

The department's primary areas of responsibility consist of the following:
  • administration of the Board's human resources function, including handling benefits program and wage and salary plan
  • maintenance of the KBC Policy and Procedure Manual, including policy developement and interpretation; preparation of the board's annual salary and benefits budget
  • administration of a sound rish management program for Convention physical assets and functions
  • maintenance and administration of a comprehensive and adequate program of property, casualty and other forms of insurance
  • administration of the short-term investment/cash management function of Convention funds
  • administration of the purchasing function
  • review and preparation of contracts, working in consultation with legal counsel
  • facilities and fleet management
  • mailroom and copy center operations
  • security
